The patient is a 40-year-old male. He has been wearing daily wear soft contact lenses every day, for 16 hours a day. He was last seen for a follow-up visit five years ago.
A patient has scheduled a follow up. He is new to your office. You intend to check for neovascularization.
The patient’s contact lenses have been removed.
You are using a retro illumination to determine whether neovascularization is present in the right eye. Include any stains or filters that would be used in a standard assessment of this kind.
