ACCESSING THE SMT-BANK SYSTEM

The SMT-Bank system is accessed when the test developer enters an authorized user name and password at the login Prompt. This access control feature helps ensure that only authorized users are able to see and interact with the item bank.

Successful login brings the user to the Main Menu. It is from the Main Menu that all the features and capabilities of the SMT-Bank software are employed. These features and capabilities are organized into Exam Specification tasks, Item Development tasks, Test Development tasks, and Administrative (Utilities) tasks. Additionally, specific item banks can be accessed from the main menu.
