SMT client earns ANSI accreditation

The International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium [(ISC)²®], an SMT client since 1997, has been granted certification accreditation in the area of information security under ISO/IEC 17024 for the consortium’s CISSP® credential by ANSI (American National Standards Institute), the United States representation of the International Standards Organization (ISO).

“This is a significant milestone for (ISC)² and the international information security section,” said James E. Duffy, CISSP, Executive Director for (ISC)². “SMT played a vital role in the ANSI accreditation process,” Duffy added, “ensuring (ISC)² test development, psychometric analysis, and exam security met the stringent requirements of ISO/IEC 17024. They have been a valued partner for some time and should share in this tremendous achievement."
