As Business Development Director at SMT, Ward is responsible for the supervision of the Business Development staff, leading all proposal response efforts and conducting sales and marketing campaigns. Starting his career with ETS in insurance and real estate program direction, over the past 20 years he has been involved in almost every aspect of the testing industry, including day-to-day client operational contact, contract management, government relations, business development and consultative sales. Ward has been a presenter and a speaker for educational programs as well as national conferences. Through his many years of experience and work in government relations, Ward has built a solid network of business and personal relationships in the testing industry.

Ward earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Pennsylvania State University.
